It’s spring time…at least in Tucson…suckas.  The flowers are blooming, the arm warmers are being peeled off, motorists are in full-on rage mode, and collegiate cycling is helping young adults slim down from a long winter’s drinking.

Here at the University of Arizona, it’s Spring Break.  What do collegiate cyclists do during Spring Break, you might wonder?  The answer might surprise you…

Bake sale?  WTF.

The UA Cycling team recently hosted the 2nd annual UA Criterium on the campus at the University of AZ.  Promoting races is not easy.  It requires teamwork.  Here UA cycling demonstrates teamwork.

Go out and hug your local race promoter.  He or she works hard, and probably has to deal with whinny cyclists all the time.  Here is an especially whinny cyclist.

In addition to promoting the UA Crit, the UA Cycling team also recently swept the podium at the Southwest Collegiate Conference Road Race Championships in Hillsboro, NM.   More teamwork may have been involved – and a playground.

The UA Crit was also the SWCCC Crit Championships.  Again, a sweep of the podium.

These pretty ladies also learned a thing or two about teamwork.  They will also be a force to be reckoned with at Collegiate Road Nationals in Fort Collins, CO this May.  Watch out Colorado schools.  I hope you’re having fun in the SNOW right now!!

I don’t have much else to say except watch out for cars, hug your a race promoter, and cheer for the UA cycling team.
